Job Description :
Customizes and delivers education services to external customers.

The Staff Consultant/Instructor is responsible for the success of their assigned Oracle project/training events and committed to superior customer service. They are expected to participate in the development of plans for continuous personal and professional growth. Control aspects of the customer event (i.e. instruction, application implementation, environment, setup etc.) to ensure success. Produce quality deliverables on a project (i.e. assessments, communication, curriculum development, Tutor, eLearning). Continually develop capacity to deliver services that add value to the customer and grow their understanding of basic concepts. Provide support to project team, project management, and upper management. Meet utilization targets. Travel as needed.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. BS or equivalent functional or professional experience preferred. Has obtained or is working towards applicable industry recognized certifications (OCP, CPA, CPIM). Has 1 plus years technical or professional experience using Oracle products, methods or related software.
The Hospitality Support Trainer facilitates new hire and skill enhancement for internal Support teams and, on occasion, will facilitate external customer training. This role contributes to overall Support Staff effectiveness by ensuring through training that Support employees have a thorough knowledge of products, processes and systems, and effectively use problem solving skills and customer care principles in troubleshooting and resolving customer service requests. This role requires a deep understanding of adult learning principles and excellent training delivery platform/ facilitation skills utilizing variable delivery modalities. The trainer will report to the Director of Hospitality and Food & Beverage Training. This candidate should have expertise with OPERA Cloud and OPERA on premise.
Conducts onboarding and initial training for newly hired employees- technical application, troubleshooting, customer care, core product, support tools, processes and policies
Conducts skill enhancement and on going developmental training for tenured support staff
Delivers customer educational programs on Working Effectively with Hospitality and Food & Beverage Support and My Oracle Support Tools
Facilitates training using multiple modalities such as classroom instruction, virtual training, and blended learning
Generates reports and tracks progress of trainees during training period
Facilitates transition from initial training to live customer support for newly hired employees
Maintains expertise regarding products, business processes and systems and has a thourough understanding of training programs and operational metrics
Assists in the evaluation of training effectiveness based upon informal and formal feedback mechanisms and suggests ongoing enhancements to curriculum
Conducts training needs analysis based on job evaluations, gap assessments and makes recommendations for programs or curriculum to address
Executes training upon approved training plans
Partners with instructional design staff to develop training content, eLearning material and content
Develops assessments aligned with class objectives and required outcomes
Prepares lesson plans, training aids and training collateral relevant to course or program
Communicates and collaborates routinely with Global Training Team Members, Call Quality Assurance Group and Proactive Support Teams
Communicates with Senior Support Leadership, Managers and key business partners regarding learning programs, skill enhancement and development requests and training solutions
Leverages critical thinking and analytical thinking in presenting learning solutions and recommendations
Multi-task ability to balance project/ training program development work and training facilitation requirements

Associate or Bachelor Degree with a focus in Hospitality Management, Adult Learning, Human Resources, or Training preferred
1- 2 years experience in training and adult learning preferred
Minimum of 2 combined years experience in Customer Support, Customer Service or Hospitality Roles or Training roles
Fluent in English
Prefer knowledge with Oracle Food & Beverage products such as OPERA Cloud, OPERA
Working Knowledge of Camtasia, Captivate or other training content authoring tools preferred
