Job Description :
To be familiar with all policies and procedures.
To be well versed with the facilities and services offered by the Hotel.
To master the Hotel product in terms of rates, layout and physical attributes breakdown / configuration, special features and amenities etc.
To be responsible in providing the most efficient and courteous reservations service and to undertake other related duties and responsibilities as required by Management.
Knows and handles all reservations processes. Proficient in operating the reservations systems and equipment.
Provides prompt, courteous and efficient service at all times. Answer the phone in 3 rings.
Ensures that all reservations are entered accurately, and database update maintained consistently.
Ensures that all reservations are thoroughly reviewed prior to guest’s arrival.
Updates Sales and front office on booked-out status to maximize sales opportunities. Alerts the Manager of sudden changes in reservation status and occupancy levels.
Processes incoming reservation requests/correspondence, confirming or regretting on the day received.
Familiarizes himself/herself with billing and credit policies to effectively handle and process billing requirements.
Develops and maintains an accurate and updated filling system of all correspondence for easy access and retrieval.
Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by superior/s.
Follows the Checklist for groups arriving in future.

To support the implementation of changes as a result of the Employee Opinion Survey
Attends and contributes to all training sessions and meetings as required.
Is knowledgeable in statutory legislation in associates and industrial relations.
Exercises responsible behaviour at all times and positively representing the hotel team and Hyatt International.
Maintains strong, professional relationship with the relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners and other organisations.
Other Duties (Contd)
Reads the hotel’s Associate Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel’s rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to computer resources, fire, hygiene, health and safety.
Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned
To be able to multi-task and handle additional assignments, as directed by the Management
Wtih min 2 years of experience in reservations with strong communication skills.
