Assistant Professor Applications are invited for the post of a JRF position under the CEFIPRA (Indo-French)

research project No. 6108-1 – ‘Plasmonic hot electron pockets as exciton luminescence
University South promoters and region-selective chemical triggers’. The selected fellow will work with an

Campus international team involving Panjab University, India and CEMES, France and will also get
ample opportunities to participate in various other experiments of the group as well to

Science Block-II, demonstrate independent research capabilities. The fellow is expected to work both at
Panjab University, Chandigarh-India and partly at CEMES, Toulouse-France.

Sector-25 The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project at any point of time.
The position is initially for one year and extendable up to third year and governed by the

accessed accordingly.

E-mail: The candidate must have passed the M. Sc. in Physics or Chemistry (preferably minimum

[email protected] minimum of 55 % marks or 1
st class M. Tech. degree in engineering in nanoscience and
nanotechnology (relaxation as admissible as per government rules). It is expected that the

capabilities to carry out independent research work. Candidate actively engaged in

research work with evidence of published work will be preferred.

Note: Candidate who have cleared GATE/UGC-CSIR NET JRF/Lectureship or any relevant

national level examination will be given preference for appointment.

Emoluments/Fellowships as under:
For non-NET/Gate qualified: ₹ 14,000 per month + HRA

For NET/Gate qualified: ₹ 25,000 per month + HRA
Will be revised as per government notifications and subjected to approval from funding
